 The aim of findmasjid.co.uk is to map the masaajid in London and show graphically, the location of each masjid. The website is being populated with the masaajid in London and we hope to map all the masaajid in London Insh'Allah.  Why was this project started? The main purpose was to allow people to easily find masaajid in London, as their are many, we thought why not display the masaajid in a user friendly way rather than just list their addresses. We hope that this encourages people and also the people behind this project to pray their salaah in congregation in the masjid. Why is my local masjid not on the map? We are still in the process adding masaajid onto the map, please do tell us of the location of your local masjid or of any other masjid that has not yet been added, you can find out how to contribute here. How can I help? You can help by telling others about it so that they may benefit and also you can contribute by informing us of any masaajid that have not been added. Please do also tell us of any discrepencies such as masaajid mapped in the wrong place. Is Microsoft affiliated with this project? Microsoft is not affiliated with this project, we are simply making use of their Live Map service which allow users to display their own collections on their map. In no way do we claim ownership of this map system and all trademarks and copyright belong to Microsoft.  |
